SUMMARY:
The Collocation Coordinator supports the efforts of the Operations department to provide collocation project management and construction services on existing sites to wireless customers. The incumbent manages collocation services support activities and coordinates related tasks to ensure the smooth and timely completion of collocation projects. Reporting directly to the Senior Collocation Manager, they will work closely with the Project Managers and Key Account Management teams who are responsible for all customer liaisons. The Collocation Coordinator will be a primarily office based role. Activities include, but are not limited to, project management, project tracking, central file organization, property due diligence, environmental and permitting compliance issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for working with and building strong relationships with multiple internal and external customers including Operations, Sales, Finance and Legal
- Coordinates with the Project Managers to initiates projects in the collocation tracking system.
- Works closely with Collocation Project Manager to maintain milestone completion dates in the tracker.
- Coordinates with Project Manager and leasing team to complete lease package for customers.
- Maintains organized project files and ensures that customer databases are maintained with pertinent project files.
- Coordinates construction walks between contractors and field operations personnel for technical site surveys.
- Works with Project Manager to ensure that milestones for services projects are billed upon completion and projects are closed in a timely fashion.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, & Oracle
- Ability to work in a team and independently
· Self-motivated and self-disciplined with “can-do” attitude and excellent follow-up skills
- Proven ability to form strong relationships with internal and external customers
· Must have excellent customer service skills and interact well with others
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency in tracking and evaluation of financial reports
- Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Telecom industry experience preferred
- 2 years of administrative experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of site acquisition and construction for wireless sites.
