Our client a Human Resource consultancy firm is looking for an ideal candidate for a Human Resource intern.
Job Purpose
The incumbent will be responsible for providing support to the overall Human Resources function.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve clients, identify their needs and provide feedback on success of filling jobs
- Qualify job specification / salary information and record accurate and comprehensive job description – check info / client requirements in line with key processes and legislation
- Gather information on client – decision maker and number of employees
- Network internally and externally with clients
- Benchmark for clients – salary, availability, candidate pool, industry activity
- Write and Place advertisements in newspapers and on website
- Candidate control – keep in regular contact to review progress and performance
- Pre-screen candidates before their interview for suitability and conduct interviews
- Market candidates, Search / Shortlist CVs in line with job order request, Ensure CV’s are of a specific standard and reflective of client requests
- Provide information to candidates on clients and job specifications for permanent jobs.
- Calling shortlisted candidates for interviews.
· Receive customer calls on request for our services and consultations on services already offered.
- Administration duties including; identification, verification of qualifications and reference checking.
- Capture information and calls correctly– update and maintain client and candidate information database and adhere to company rules
- Ensure records are kept in line with company requirements
- Investigate what services the customer will need even if they may not know what they need. Probing as to what they want and present what they feel they may need dependant on their needs and wants.
- Consult with walk in clients about their service needs.
- Any other duties as required
Required Knowledge and Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in HR from a recognized institution.
- Computer Literate
- A logical thinker with strong analytical skills
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and tact when dealing with people. |
