Summary
Our client, a large multi- disciplined construction company having a fully fledged functional base in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia, is looking a Site Agent.
JOB PURPOSE.
Responsible for timely and safe execution of the project(s) at site under strict time & cost schedules as provided in the DPP.
GENERIC DUTIES.
- Prepare, review and cause to be approved the Project execution plan (DPP).
- Develop procedures and schedules to ensure they are realistic and achievable
- Ensure timely raising of RRN, delivery and secure storage of material

Manage the delivery of the works as per approved project specifications, established engineering practices and approve programme of works and on cost.
- Ensure periodic preparation, submission of acceptable certificates to the Consultant / Engineer and ensure approval is granted as per contract terms.
- Monitor progress of work, budgets, costs, and schedules in accordance with DPP and take appropriate action.
- Ensure that accurate, effective and timely site contractual documentation is maintained as per conditions of contract
- Maintain effective communication with all concerned including employer, engineer, employees and neighbours.
- Compile accurate daily, weekly and monthly site production reports and have them delivered to the required persons.
- Manage the site, Supervise the teams, inspire the staff to ensure performance and objectives are met at highest productivity level.
- Review work force adequacy, funding, plant utilisation and project risks and take appropriate action.
- Adhere to all QSHE procedures, policies and instructions.

Relevant Work Experience:
- 15years general experience 10 years specific road experience.
