Our client, a group of large manufacturing companies with sites across East African region is looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Distrbution Coordinator for their Uganda office.

duties

·         Provide timely delivery services for finished goods and manage stocks in the warehouse and implement procedures on product recall per HACCP guidelines

COMMUNICATIONS AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

·         Customers –     Review market trends, delivery and related market issues.

·         Transporters – Fleet availability and related issues.

·         Sales and Technical reps – Information on market needs and priority areas.

·         Plant manager – Product requirements

·         Finance – payment of transport charges and allowances.

   SCOPE FOR IMPACT:

·         Management of innovative systems - Geotab

·         Implementation and sustenance of HACCP at distribution.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

-          Must be a Graduate in Business related field

-          Diploma in Fleet and Stores management will be of an added advantage

-          Minimum three (3) years’ relevant experience in warehouse management in an established FMCG company

-          Experience in Logistics management is an added advantage

-          Computer literate
