MARKETING EXECUTIVE- HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY
Our client, an established hotel in Thika is looking to for a young and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Marketing executive.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· New business acquisition
· Identifying unmet customer needs and offering solutions
· Carrying out market surveys and gathering market intelligence
· Discussing proposals with customers and making follow-ups to final conclusion, collecting payments for contracted services
· Managing new contracts to successful completion and handover within agreed schedules of the customers’ satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications
· At least a diploma in sales and marketing or related field
· Additional diploma in hotel management or related field will be of an added advantage
· Must have at least one year experience in the hospitality industry preferably in marketing or customer service
· Experience in selling services especially those related to the hospitality industry will be a definite added advantage
· Assertive, Persistent with high energy and initiative and able to deliver results in a high pressure environment
· A team player with good interpersonal skills and unquestionable integrity
· Excellent communication skills- verbal and written
· Must have a proven track record in sales
