JOB TITLE: GROUP CONTRACTS MANAGER

SUMMARY

A leading Civil Infrastructure Company operating in East Africa wishes to fill the position of a Group Contracts Manager

 (Site). 'Ugandan Nationals'

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for the development of an accurate and efficient contracts biding system, that meets the corporate strategic plan.

GENERIC DUTIES:

§  Analyzing of tender documents as submitted by the regions and submits to tender committee for review and approval as per the laid down policies and procedures.

§  Ensure accurate preparation of prequalification and tenders to improve win rate in line with corporate strategy.

§  Verification of role of Spencon in tender JV/sub-contract agreements / documents.

§  Ensures compliance with company procedures in relation to contractual matters.

§  Provide expertise / guidance to the regions in the preparation of contractual claims.

§  Plans and implements QSHE procedures, policies and instructions

§  Attends to any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

COMPETENCIES MAP

Educational Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering.

Professional Training/ Qualifications:

• Diploma in Project management.
• Proficient in application of FIDIC

Skill Requirement:

• Analytical, Financial, People, and Negotiation Skills.

Relevant Work Experience:

• 10 years in a similar / related industry.
• Local and international Contract conditions.
